No politics? Think again.
They are constantly having politics with the managers trying to score points to the director/Boss. If you are not following him around like little mice, you will never be able to climb up the ladder and will forever be stuck at entry level.
Earn lots of money?
If you joined them many years ago, you would have bonuses. Unfortunately if you are joining now, you will not be entitled to having any bonuses. Meaning you will have to work extra hard for the same amount of money compared to other advisers within the same company or even within the entire industry.
Recruit or be deemed unappreciative and ungrateful.
When you enter and after a few months are not helping with their recruitment, you would be labelled as "ungrateful" and "unappreciative" towards all the care and concern given to you.
The Boss is above your family and partner (husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend)
Ask around and you might be able to find out that many relationships have been torn apart because the Boss is unhappy and bias about certain things within the relationship. Example: you are concentrating too much and not churning in the money for him. Means that you are selfish if you want to spend normal time with your family and not thinking about the organisation.
Smooth exit strategy?
All your commissions will be held by him and you will not be able to get a single cent from all your clients ever again if you choose to step on his toes.
You will be considered Sacked by him even though you choose to resign.
High performance, if not YOU'RE FIRED!
The Boss proudly boasts of firing over 100 ex-advisers and it is alway about them and never about him or his organisation. Because everyone knows that they are just PERFECT.
Talk to any ex-adviser and you will be in big trouble
Because they have something to hide, you cannot talk to anyone that has left the company. If you do, you will be warned and subsequently labelled an ungrateful person. It is really he does not want the things that conspired to tarnish their "good and noble name". But if you want to know the truth, this is the only way you can. Instead of hearing from people that are placed there to recruit you and give you false hopes, be more discerning, be fair to yourself. Hear both sides of the story.
This is part 1 of a 3 part series to warn others that intend to join this company to at least talk to their ex-advisers first and find out the reason they and many others leave this organisation before you even sign on the dotted line.
why can't they just say it as it is. And not keep your hopes up just to get all the warm clients and after that don't care about you. They just let you rot or sack you for not performing.
ReplyDeletesick.
JNP is a not a licensed financial adviser. It is a branch of IPP financial adviser. What is mentioned here is typical of mind control cult:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.spiritwatch.org/mincon10.htm
You should be careful if you are investing or buying insurance from them.
Ha Ha, yaa.....
ReplyDeleteHe keeps saying that he's doing everything for his advisers but from the many years I've known him, he's actually doing it for his big fat wallet lor....
So many clever adults are actually so naive.... tsk tsk....
How about the Jaguars?
ReplyDeleteJaguars? i found this in goggle based on you guys discussed above:

u mean u r required to sign a contract with them?? if they are not the licensed adviser then y must sign with them...u advised finding out more from the ex-adviser...how to do that
ReplyDeletehow come no reply one...and hey when's part two coming out? seems interesting need more updates before i changed into financial advisory...
ReplyDeleteTo gian_banker:
ReplyDeleteI think what you can do hor, is if you want to get in contact with the ex-advisers, please Call the ever mighty sectery to give you the handphone numbers of the following people:
Cynthia, Jun, Chris, Gou Li.... some of them are still in the industry and you can get their numbers from MAS.
Better still, kindly arrange with Calina for a "business meeting" and ask if Patrick Tan is free for coffee.... and hear from the lion's mouth.
Your contract is so that you don't get any BONUSES and he can take all the money that is rightfully yours.
ReplyDeleteYah lor! The seinor advisers are still staying because of the bonus. If not they would have left so long ago..
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone take so much shit if it's not for the money!
How come nobardi tok abt qi going?
ReplyDeletewhen is the part two coming up??

ReplyDeleteHow come nobardi tok abt qi going?

what has qi gong got to do with this? am is till on the financial advisory page right?
Qi gong is a BIG part of JnP. They are crazy abt it cos the head does it.. Like cult mah, head do and says gd, headless chicken will follow...
ReplyDeleteoh my so its true... i have got a cousin inside there and he sort of lost himself... working non stop and talk about how capable his boss is but its him that we are worrying abt... after working for some times, not much of savings, so high his expenditure.. his parents are so worried abt him..
ReplyDeleteSoooo True.... Im also 1 of those "100" that he "sacked"... Pls la... when pple see his Fox tail of cos will leave the organisation la.. then stay there let him make use meh...
ReplyDeleteThink many who left return back to their normal self, no longer wearing on a mask. No more endless "coaching sessions", which everyone who was 'invited' by the head, everyday hoping that they'll be call to inform venue. At least I felt happy to be able to play majong openly cos no one was allowed to even talk abt it as it's waste of time as head does not play. New Year go head's hse visiting must attend coaching session, don want to sit in also cannot, cos everyone so eager to sit in, but don know they genuine or not. I rather go other places where i can talk cock, play blackjack or majong loh... The moment I left, I felt I was released from jail, that kind of feeling was damn good.:)
ReplyDeleteI strongly admired the courage of the writer of this blog! I salute you for your guys and putting all important facts before everyone eyes....Truth and nothing but the truth is written... Business must be practice ethically, recruiting young people without knowledge, scrutinizing their life and micro-manage every aspect of the advisers life...mind me asking, it is still "entrepreneurship" that an adviser who do not draw any basic pay deserve...no freedom, under control, under "mask" everyday..It this life.....Be warned people, you may be the next "number games" that those managers are playing..."Recruitment" is a number game in models of Insurance and maybe property agent...but all else, if you are happy with that place...go ahead and stay...it is not a one-size fit all...many choose to stay may like the environment and be in that environment...like "North Korean"? ....
ReplyDeletehaha !! well said guys !!! This platform is where the Truth speaks loud & clear.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this Christmas they may coup themselves in that little small space and still see each other faces from noon till midnight again because they just love each other as a Family ? Awww.....
No! They enjoy themselves at their new GEYLANG OFFICE!!! So professional hor!
ReplyDeleteGeylang for Financial Adviser Business..
And I heard that all their advisers got COnNed into buying more units there!
He's just making you spend all your money so you have to continue working for him lor... pleazzzzzzz wake up la.....
Really RED RED RED olive Cafe... or better call RED LIGHT cafe... hehhhhh hehhhh
I bet the head must be busy thinking how to brain wash his gold mines and prevent them leaving his 'full of values' JNP.
ReplyDeleteOh well, the head better be fast. If not, he will have 'cong chu jiang hu' to do cold calling himself to sustain his exorbitant lifestyle.
Good luck!
Anyway, i sincerely hoped that JNP will be able to repay every single penny that the ex-staffs invested in the "joint property investment". It's all the hard earned $$ they earned (the amount is not small ....). God bless!
ReplyDeleteI strongly believes in KARMA....what goes around comes around...
ReplyDeleteI wanted to ask do the advisers pay for the jaguars themselves?
ReplyDeleteyup, the animals r paid by own pocket.. that's where the liability n great mistake occures.. u will be so tied down financially n can't break free fm the bond so u suck it up everything that the head says n follow if u decided to have ur own thinking n start to not follow the culture.. haha.. like wat our friend says.. outcast n boycott n u will be given a choice to either follow closely or tender ur resignation n btw u will not be given any chance to join other branch.. so it put u in a deeply dangerous position btw ur pocket or ur future.. u join other company, u lose all ur recurring, but if u don't return to the financial sector u still get paid for a year of ur recurring.. so in e end.. u become a loser like what the head says "these people give up on their client n themselves.. master in psychology is not talk talk only.. everything being says n does always has a binding factor in that place.. u ve being warned.. stay away fm the washing if not u will end up broke. look good outside n penniless inside. speck to more ppl n find out abt the outside how good it really is n not what has being said in the organization "outside is full of snakes n wolfs, we r protecting you n u better count ur blessing that u r with us" bullshit..
ReplyDeleteis it? but i tot that time we were given a choice to buy the animal or not mah..for my he told me so many times not to buy the animal but my biz also can't grow as fast as what they want..i had to cope more with the culture then everything else.......then he wants to transfer me to other branch in ipp like i am a commodity like that. how come now u say he dun allow people to transfer to other branch one...from what i know i saw so many in other branches from jnp last time mah...haha congrats to all those people hor...so good for them, i rather leave then join other branches leh wait suay suay sure see them again wah lao eh
ReplyDeletehaiz...at least for me not so bad lah, when i go all my clients they want me to take with me, then i boh pian also have to find another ifa to join loh then can serve my clients, otherwise how like that?
ReplyDeleteMayb alot of pple still duno about this blog? Wonder can we Post it on Stomp?!?!
ReplyDeletewow... That's quite a bold move to post on stomp. National campaign to boycott huh? lol
ReplyDeletei saw sth similar to this topic of culture scamming....http://tnij.org/jiz6 i just tot that i could share it with you...what is going on with the people nowadays....???
ReplyDeletepeople eat people? what is this-cannibalism to a new level?
http://www.cultural-expressions.com/Guestbook/guestbook.html
ReplyDeletethe truth about culture...
have a look here, now i know what am i supposed to look for in my financial adviser, thanks to the author of this blog it really opened my eyes to look for people who have been in an industry for a long haul and have a proven performance or track record...people who quit half way or do not have a solid track record like there were previously from FNB background, fresh graduates, from IT line, from engineering line, from accounting background or even did not have a good education background (repeated studies) should just go and make their mark before i can fully see their true colours, otherwise i am just putting my hard earned money on the bbq pit.....burn aaaah!
ReplyDeletehttp://mybiggestcomplaint.com/my-financial-advisor/
YAWN!
ReplyDeleteMany of us QUIT, we were not SACKED.
ReplyDeleteI don't know when HE can get this into his head, and stop carrassing his own HUGE ego!
I should have realised earlier that all this "Family" and "Love" and "Help" he's claimed to have rendered us, is just to make us work hard to feed this homes he's bought in upper thomson and to feed His parents' and family.
Every man for himself.
I am suprised to see so many comments...
ReplyDeletelovely... i am really glad my business was bad... just i lost my savings :(
lesson learnt...
