The master-plan between IPP-JNP, Global-Millennium-Financial-Services / Unicorn – Episode 1
Dear supportive readers, thank you so much for all your participation. As you know, I too like a lot of participation and contributions.
I have taken a back seat and let you readers be the author of this post. There is still a lot more so I am breaking this into 2 episodes..

Dearest Ashlyn aka Gian_banker, thanks for your opposing-bias views. I'm sure the audience commenting had fun fighting it out with you.
GR (Gross Revenue) biasness against their own advisers:
IPP has converted to the GR scheme with a minimum of 60% for all advisers, but JNP advisers are deceptfully shortchanged by the JNP Management to get only 50% of commissions.
Pay $5 for precious signatures from Shen Ren (Sage):
Advisers have to pay for signature/ Stamp on their coaching notes: $5 each to Patrick Tan and Robin Tan when this is their duty for them to sign. When this is under MAS regulation for Managers and Branch Partners to fulfill their own compliance requirements.
FREE A4 Paper Must Pay
All branches in IPP get FREE rims of Double A - A4 paper from IPP HQ. It is only in JNP that something that is free, must be paid by their advisers from their own pocket.
Reason: the Head wants to squeeze even $4.50 for each FREE rim of A4 paper.
The Head's reason to IPP Management is that his advisers are ungrateful and wasteful, hence must be “educated” through the pain of paying their hard earned money.
Money for property Investments STILL not returned to consultants
After the 2nd Post, I'm glad to hear that many ex-advisers have gotten back the money that they “invested” in JNP's Property Scheming Scheme. Yet some advisers have still NOT GOTTEN BACK HARD EARNED MONEY $$$$$$$$$.
Why does he still think that he is above the Justice System of Singapore?
How can he continue to “EAT” adviser's investment money?

Clients are being played like a fool
If you're a client whose adviser is still in IPP-JNP, even if you wanted to buy the most basic of life insurance (Whole Life), you will be convinced to buy Term insurance instead. They probably paint a picture that their current philosophy in planning is to 'Buy Term Invest the Rest' because of the great opportunity and blah blah blah blah blah...
If this is their philosophy, why are the people that have already moved over to GMFS (Unicorn) selling Whole Life like it's Great Singapore Sale??
Double standard don't you think?
Yet, there is still a way though very illegal. I hope MAS doesn't find out about this..
Parking Insurance cases of IPP-JNP advisers under Global Millenium Financial Services (Unicorn) advisers:
- Cases parked under Ong Khai Chien: Chong Munh Yung Selia, Chua Hui Koon
- Cases parked under Hermawan: Ng Wee Seng, Ng Suat Lynn, Bernard Chan, Seow Kek Wee, Clementia Phuket
Just do a check on the clients submitted and you will see for yourself whether there are any linkages between JNP, Unicorn & clients.
Advisers forced to sign NDA (Non-disclosure agreements)
If you're leaving JNP, you will be forced to sign an NDA stating that you don't know about their movement to Global Millienium Financial Services and or anything related to your life in JNP.
If you tell your father or mother, you will be sued.
Why sign and NDA when there is nothing to hide and nothing illegal?
IPP HQ launch an internal enquiry pertaining to contents on this blog
IPP Management has launched a formal inquiry toward the contents of the last few posts of this blog. To find out if all that was mentioned is indeed true. All the vulgarities, the withholding of bonuses, the fines that advisers have to pay to be coaching etc..

Fined for not converting to Christianity
During a Bible Study Session in late early 2010 which the Head conducted, he asked his Bible Study Group if they have converted anyone to become Christian.
His rational for this question?
That if I have taught you about the Bible, you must take action and convert. But the fact that you haven't means that you disrespect his time and effort.
Punishment? Fined $100 - $200 for not converting anyone to become a Christian.
Imagine if the Government knew about this. That a Financial Advisory Company is running a religious group that fines its members for not recruiting. If the churches heard about this, it would be very ugly and shameful sight.
But he is above the Church and the governing bodies that put order in the religious groups within our very delicate inter-racial inter-religious Singapore.
Siti and Calina are the bridges between JNP and Unicorn
Siti and Calina are housing commissions on behalf of Ong Khai Chien, Hermawan and Yang Chen
Just look at the jump in their Salary from Insurance and Investments:
Siti pay in 2010:
Aug: $573.93
Sep: $337.08
Oct: $1,407.01
Nov: $14,105.11
Calina's pay in 2010:
Aug: $93.02
Sep: $468.21
Oct: $1,366.73
Nov: $10,713.11
The 3 of them left around Sep/ Oct 2010. All of them are still getting their pay from Siti and Calina while being able to sell insurance (I'm sure there is no paper trail). As for the rest of the JNP advisers that for God-Knows-what reason wants to follow JNP over to Unicorn, you will not have this luxury.
Instead you will have to give up all your hard earned commissions for a cause I'm not sure you really want to be part of.
Does this affect the Head's pocket? No!
He has built up the advisers of in UNICORN already while he is still getting the remaining income from IPP. He will never lose out as much as the advisers below him.
What a family..
IPP-GNA (Gwen's Branch) & IPP-ELITE (Carol's Branch) will follow IPP-JNP to form UNICORN (aka GMFS)
As Gwen will be moving over to UNICORN, go to any other branches if you wish to stay in IPP.
So that you don't have to make this mistake twice.
Be prepared for this...
Something that ONLY JNP DOES – take 10% from the adviser's commissions when they change branch. No other branch in IPP does this.
It's just him taking care of his family and showing concern.. by taking your money.
*Note to JNP ADVISERS:*
Dear JNP who are looking for alternatives, IPP Management has allowed FREE MOVEMENT of JNP Advisers to any branch without any hassle at all. If your intentions are made know to the management (Mr Tay Huai Eng), your transfer out of JNP will be smooth and immediate.
Just tell Calina that you want to go to another branch (anywhere but GNA or Elite) and she cannot force you to do otherwise.

Long awaited part 2...
Chain you down with "Investment Opportunities"
After you have proven to be able to make good money for "yourself" (actually for the Head of team), you will be specially invited to exclusive investment opportunities.
The management would organise "investment opportunities" where you could invest and the Head of team would even guarantee that you'll make money.
You put your money in and thinking that the Head of team is looking out for your well-being. But you do not get any contract to say that the $XXXXK that you have put into the investment is in fact yours. Everything is through verbal promise. But in fact, the investment is put in the Head of team's or his Management's name and if you want to get it back, it depends on the his mood.
Now, if you want to leave JNP you'll have to rethink about your investments that are stuck there.
Very strategic move to keep the consultant chained up, but totally unethically.
They say you're joining a family - just see how they treat their Secretaries
Secretaries - the real heros that put up with a dictator and his righthand lioness. They put up with all that comes out of the lioness' mouth, the unreasonable behaviour, the constant mood swings and public lashing/ humiliation. That's perfectly ok if you earn A LOT but they don't! In fact, they are highly underpaid and overworked!
They must be one of the most underpaid secretary group and if they don't do anything to renumerate them properly, many if not most of them would leave for somewhere that has higher pay and shorter hours.
If the secretary bosses are not getting their Bonus, while the rest of IPP advisers are getting them, how do you expect the secretary bosses to pay the secretary big bonuses or even pay the secretary higher salary?
The circle of life in this team:
The Head of team short-change CONSULTANTS and MANAGERS.
CONSULTANTS have no choice but to short-change the secretaries. But because of how the secretaries have been brain washed, the secretaries will willingly short-change themselves.
The secretaries are also saying things behind each other's back, back-stabbing other secretaries, telling the lioness everything that happens so that they will be on the lioness good books and the lioness will "protect" them instead of throwing her WEIGHT at them.
So if they can EAT people below them, what about their clients?... Let me share that soon...
Public Humiliation and vulgarities
Under Singapore Law, using vulgarities on your subordinate is a crime.
But in this team, it's for "your own good". You should be thankful that the Head uses his time and energy to scold you vulgarities like F**K, Idiot, Stupid, PIG, Fu*king as*hole, chee by*, lan ji*o, nah b*h etc.
You must understand that he does not feel "GOOD" when he scolds you, it is all for YOU. To make YOU "BETTER".
I can't understand how their consultants can put up with all this shit.
Climb the ENDLESS ladder
Let's see.
Since beginning:
No. of Head of the team ever = 2
No. of Head of the team now = 1 (this one fired the other one... unbelieveable)
Most in the IFA industry just want to be a consultant. But soon you will understand that this Head of team is the one sucking away the comms and also the new consultants that you bring into the team.
Why? Because you are JUST a CONSULTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So you start to toy with the idea of becoming a manager so that the people you bring in will be under you (recurring income, $$$$$, running your own team, going more into Human Resource Development of consultants etc.. any combination of the above reasons.)
The first thing that you ask yourself is: what are the criterias of becoming a Manager? You look at the criteria and mark yourself against it.
Let's see..
Health.. I'm quite healthy...
Relationship.. Who must I be close to/ suck up/ appear happy in the presence of? Oh yes...
Wealth.. I'll be more wealthy if I become a manager..
Personal growth.. I need to read everything that makes me even more submissive to the management.. ok I could do that.
Professional growth.. I have to study more into this field of Finance. Sure.
Financial growth... I have to invest and make sure that I'm good at it.. Does playing monopoly help?
I score maybe a 8/10 for everything... and here is the deal-breaker.
It's ALL about being his PET... roof roof!
So you do something and get Fu*ked for not doing enough..
You put in more effort and change your thinking... and get F*cked even worst than before.
Ok, you tell yourself that "so i'll concerntrate on another aspect".. but in the end, you still get fuc*ed for not improving in his standards.
You get the picture... No matter what you do, you get fu*ked for NOT DOING something.
So if you're thinking of building your career or team and climbing the ladder.. FORGET IT! You're climbing a ladder to the moon.
Why?
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
More $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Lots more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
If you don't get over-riding from people you bring in.... guess who gets it?

WARNING: JNP Financial Advisers
For those thinking of joining this IFA, please be warned about what they are not telling you.
No politics? Think again.
They are constantly having politics with the managers trying to score points to the director/Boss. If you are not following him around like little mice, you will never be able to climb up the ladder and will forever be stuck at entry level.
Earn lots of money?
If you joined them many years ago, you would have bonuses. Unfortunately if you are joining now, you will not be entitled to having any bonuses. Meaning you will have to work extra hard for the same amount of money compared to other advisers within the same company or even within the entire industry.
Recruit or be deemed unappreciative and ungrateful.
When you enter and after a few months are not helping with their recruitment, you would be labelled as "ungrateful" and "unappreciative" towards all the care and concern given to you.
The Boss is above your family and partner (husband/wife/girlfriend/boyfriend)
Ask around and you might be able to find out that many relationships have been torn apart because the Boss is unhappy and bias about certain things within the relationship. Example: you are concentrating too much and not churning in the money for him. Means that you are selfish if you want to spend normal time with your family and not thinking about the organisation.
Smooth exit strategy?
All your commissions will be held by him and you will not be able to get a single cent from all your clients ever again if you choose to step on his toes.
You will be considered Sacked by him even though you choose to resign.
High performance, if not YOU'RE FIRED!
The Boss proudly boasts of firing over 100 ex-advisers and it is alway about them and never about him or his organisation. Because everyone knows that they are just PERFECT.
Talk to any ex-adviser and you will be in big trouble
Because they have something to hide, you cannot talk to anyone that has left the company. If you do, you will be warned and subsequently labelled an ungrateful person. It is really he does not want the things that conspired to tarnish their "good and noble name". But if you want to know the truth, this is the only way you can. Instead of hearing from people that are placed there to recruit you and give you false hopes, be more discerning, be fair to yourself. Hear both sides of the story.
This is part 1 of a 3 part series to warn others that intend to join this company to at least talk to their ex-advisers first and find out the reason they and many others leave this organisation before you even sign on the dotted line.
